Why Infinyx exists

Infinyx was born out of real operational pressure — not theory.

Before starting Infinyx, I was CEO of LINK Community & Transport, a community services organisation in Victoria delivering 38,000 passenger trips, 12,500 hours of domestic assistance, 17,700 hours of home maintenance, and 32,000 hours of group outings every year. The team had to manage all of that without increasing admin overhead — and the back office was drowning in spreadsheets, manual cross-checks, and “fix it later” workflows. Reporting was unreliable. Billing was slow. Staff spent more time on admin than on clients.

So I started building. Exception reporting, automated finance workflows, system integrations, improved client communications — practical solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and whatever tools actually fit the problem. The result: $1.3M in operational savings, and solutions that are still running today.

What I took from LINK into Infinyx

The same principles that worked inside an organisation work even better when you specialise in delivering them.

Principles

  • Start with the process, not the technology
  • Pick the highest-return problem first
  • Build for the people who’ll actually use it
  • If there’s no clear ROI, don’t build it
  • Solutions should outlast the project

In practice

  • We diagnose before we design
  • We deliver working results in iterations, not after months of planning
  • We document and hand over — no ongoing dependency
  • We use your existing tools (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure) wherever possible
  • We’ll tell you if automation isn’t the right move

What our clients say

“Over-90-day receivables decreased by more than 80%. The automation has improved cash flow, accuracy and scalability without increasing headcount, enabling our finance team to focus on strategic, value-adding activities.”

— Usman Shamim, Finance Manager, LINK Community & Transport

“Cliff cut through the manual, messy enrolment processes that were eating our time and built automation that actually works. We’ve saved hundreds of hours in spreadsheet manipulation.”

— Kate Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications

Our Team

Cliff Abbasi

Cliff Abbasi

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Cliff is a CPA, former CFO and CEO, and the person who will personally build your solution. Most IT consultants bring one of those things. He brings all of them.

His background is in running organisations, not just advising them — managing boards, budgets, compliance, and operations across healthcare, community services, and beyond. That cross-sector experience means he’s seen the same operational problems show up in different industries, and knows what actually fixes them. At LINK Community & Transport, he put that to work directly, designing and building automation systems that delivered $1.3M in operational savings while he was still CEO.

At Infinyx, that means clients get something genuinely unusual: a consultant who understands the pressure you’re under, can read a P&L, and can still open a code editor. No outsourced development. No one who needs to be briefed twice.

Maurice Thaung

Maurice Thaung

Director of Client Growth & Solutions

Maurice brings 30 years of experience across financial services, operations, and organisational leadership — with senior roles at CommBank, AXA, Findex, CPA Australia, and Aware Super. Most recently, he served as COO and Acting CEO at LINK Community & Transport, the same organisation where he and Cliff worked side by side to deliver operational transformation for older and vulnerable Australians.

At Infinyx, Maurice works directly with executive leaders to identify where AI and automation will deliver real operational value — improving financial visibility, reducing manual burden, and integrating disconnected systems. Practical, commercially grounded, and focused on outcomes that matter to the business.
